Unofficial Norwalk bike map

I'm working on a thus-far unofficial bike map for Norwalk. The purpose is to create a map showing good and bad roads for cycling to help people plan their routes around town. Feedback would be much appreciated! I'm also unsure how to represent the route to Saugatuck through Norden Park, which is part corporate driveway, dirt for a short segment and may not be officially allowed as a through path. It's currently marked as an off-street path.

  1. Great trails. I ride there all the time. I am also hoping for a bike path along Route 7 from Norwalk to Danbury . Check out route7.us or ibike.us

  5. is the path along 95 connecting exit 16 to exit 15 a viable path? There's a sign at 16 claiming "No pedestrians, no bikes, no skateboards," etc. I'd like to use this path, but I also don't want to get in trouble...

  6. I never noticed that sign, but it must refer to the freeway itself. The path is definitely viable. We even got the State DOT to clean it up recently (http://www.livablenorwalk.org/2010/05/i-95-walkway-has-been-swept-and-trimmed.html)...although it's already getting overgrown again.
